The story of Dansko shoes has it's roots in Denmark where Peter and Mandy discovered a small shoe store that carried open back clogs. These shoes were very different and instantly were a hit with them and their friends and family.

After discovering a rather broad market for these clogs Peter and Mandy began to develop their own line of shoes of different styles and colors. Dansko shoes quickly grew into a staff of over 130 people. Dansko shoes is very active in the community and is very consciousness of the environment.
